2. Trek to Kareri Lake
Kareri Lake is a freshwater, high-altitude lake in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district, located in the Dauladhar range of the Himalayas. The lake, which is 9,625 feet above sea level, is formed by the melting of snow from nearby glaciers. Near the lake, there is also a Lord Shiva temple.

3.Trek to Tso Lhamo Lake
Tso Lhamo, India’s highest lake, is located at an elevation of 17,998 feet (5,486 meters).

It obtains its water from glaciers such as the Kangtse, Zemu, and Pauhunri glaciers.
This lake is the source of the Teesta River.

If trekking is not your thing, tour companies offer trips to and from Tso Lhamo via the Gangtok-Chungthang Road.
Because of the lake’s proximity to the Chinese border, landing here requires an Army permit. If you don’t want to be turned back at a checkpoint, make sure you have all the necessary permissions.
4.RoopKund Trekking
The glacial Lake Roop Kund is located in Uttarakhand, near the Trishul mountain range and massif.
At a height of 16,499 feet, the beautiful lake is surrounded by snow-clad mountains and glaciers, and there are hundreds of human skeletons visible at the lake’s edge.
According to research, the frames are of people who died in a hailstorm in the ninth century.
The trek to RoopKund trek can begin in Lohajung.

5. Deori Tal
Deoria Tal is located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state and is located in the Kedarnath Musk Deer Sanctuary. The emerald lake offers a pristine reflection of the Chaukhamba peaks. Furthermore, this stunning location provides a clear view of other famous peaks such as Bandarpoonch, Nikantha, Kalanag, Kedar Range, and others.
